The World War Monument

Implementation period: 2019-2022

Results: "Glory to the Sons of the Motherland" is a monument built by local communities in 1985 to commemorate local participants in World War II. During 2018-2019, the monument was partially destroyed by vandals and required significant repair. During the project, design documentation was developed and applied to the Participatory Budget Program, which resulted in KZT100 mln invested by the city administration for the rehabilitation of the monument and nearby square.
